Rescheduling and reservation cancellation
Our intention is to be fair and flexible.
If the customer is unforeseen for any reason, or if the weather conditions are very bad, causing the Charter to be canceled on the scheduled date:
- The customer can reschedule the Charter within a period of 6 months, in a date agreed with Veleiros Thalassa.
If the customer cannot or does not wish to reschedule the Charter, we apply the following conditions:
- If the cancellation tooks place more than one month in advance and it did not concern a holiday or a festive date, we do not retain anything. If it is a holiday, we retain 20% of the total price of the Charter.
If the cancellation has occurred less than one month in advance, we negotiate a percentage between 20% and 50% depending on the number of days of anticipation and whether it is holiday or not.
- If the Charter is canceled for reasons related to the sailboat or the captain, we do not retain anything, of course, and we compensate any costs incurred by the customer (eg travel to Paraty).
